On the afternoon of July 3rd, 2012, the award ceremony for the CUPL Jiang Zhen Scholarship for Postgraduates, Chang’an Notary Scholarship and Outstanding Dissertation was held in the library at Xueyuan Lu Campus. CUPL Vice-President and Graduate School Dean Zhu Yong, Graduate School Standing Vice-Dean Li Shuguang, Graduate School Vice-Dean Liu Bin, and Professor Zhang Baosheng, a representative of the CUPL Outstanding Dissertation Tutors, attended the ceremony.
According to Graduate School Vice-Dean Wang Zhenfeng, 20 candidates were awarded the annual CUPL Jiang Zhen Scholarship this year. The total monetary value of the scholarship amounts to 200,000 RMB. One scholarship winner, Zhou Yuanyuan, also won a $10,000 foreign exchange subsidy for her outstanding academic scores. This year 24 applicants were awarded the Chang’an Notary Scholarship. Its total monetary value amounts to 90,000 RMB. As for the CUPL Outstanding Dissertation Contest, the judging panel selected 10 Doctoral Degree Papers and 39 Master Degree Papers as this year’s winners. Its total monetary value amounts to 110,000 RMB. This is the first time the CUPL Jiang Zhen Scholarship was awarded since the renewal of the Agreement between the Jiang Zhen Industrial Foundation and CUPL.
