On the afternoon of May 15, 2012, representatives from CUPL and the University of Montreal held an opening ceremony on the CUPL Changping Campus for the Sino-Canadian Law Research Center. CUPL President Huang Jin, Vice President Zhu Yong, and University of Montreal Law School Dean Guy Lefevbre attended the opening ceremony on behalf of the two universities.
The Sino-Canadian Law Research Center—established by CUPL and the University of Montreal—will be developed into an important base for Sino-Canadian law education and research, academic exchange, and legal services.
