A seminar on judicial science and legal supervision by legislation was held in the Beijing Cuigong (Jade Palace) Hotel, on December 30, 2011. The seminar was sponsored by the CUPL Judicial Ideas and System Research Center.
This seminar stemmed from one of the 2011 Supreme People’s Procuratorate’s major projects: Legal Supervision by Legislation. Since its establishment, the main research field of the center has been judicial science.
In 2011, the center published the book Theories of Judicial Science.
CUPL professor of procedural law Cheng Guanzhong and Judicial Reform Office Director of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate Wang Hongxiang and other experts attended the meeting. The seminar was co-chaired by Center Director Professor Cui Yongdong and vice-director and research fellow Feng Yonghua.
