On December 2, 2011, the Beijing chapter's standing committee of CUPL's Alumni Associaiton met at the Xueyuan Lu
campus. Former CUPL President Xie Zhanyuan (current CUPL Alumni Association Beijing chapter president)
presided over the meeting. Beijing chapter vice- president Han Tienan provided a summary of the chapter’s 2011 activities.
Directors discussed how to formally recognize distinguished CUPL alumni and plans for the university’s upcoming
60th anniversary.
