Innovating Models, Advancing Together: The Inaugural Forum on Collaborative Training of Foreign-Related Legal Talent was Held in Beijing

On March 15 afternoon, the Inaugural Forum on Collaborative Training of Foreign-Related Legal Talent was convened in Chaoyang District, Beijing. Hosted by the Academic Affairs Office of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), the forum gathered officials from the Department of WTO Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce, representatives from the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), prominent legal practitioners, and over 80 experts and faculty members from 49 universities.

The forum facilitated substantive discussions on innovative approaches to legal education, such as collaborative training models, optimized training programs, and enhanced practices & internships. It introduced new perspectives and approaches to developing competent foreign-related legal professionals. Moving forward, stakeholders will collaborate to further advance reforms in foreign-related legal talent education, cultivating more practice-ready legal professionals for China’s international engagements.
