In the afternoon of October 31, 2017 (local time), Prof. Li Beiqun, President of Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology and his two colleagues visited the Confucius Institute at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, Barbados (CI at Barbados), andhad an exchange of views with administrators and experts in the university on inter-university partnership.
Accompanied by BarbadianCo-Director Francois Jackman and Chinese Co-Director Prof. Song Qingbao, President Li and his delegation paid an on-site visit to the CI at Barbados. Then, the two sides attended a meeting on inter-university cooperation and exchange in the university’s main conference room. The meeting was moderated by Rommel Carter, Campus Registrar of the university. The two sides thanked the CI at Barbados for building this communication platform and agreed that there washuge potential for bilateral cooperation in the fields of meteorology, hydrology, environmental protection, research on big data and etc.
