On March 20 (local time),Prof. Dong Jingbo, Chinese Co-Director of the CI at UB, and Prof. Luminita Balan, Romanian Co-Director of the CI at UB,together with volunteer teachers, brought abundant Chinese cultural events to No. 49 Middle School. They introduced Chinese culture, presented calligraphy,played puzzle games and taught the students to write numbers in Chinese. These events left many students keenly interested in the Chinese language as well as the Chinese culture.

Children represent not only the future of China-Romania friendship, but also an important way to promote the Chinese language. As always, the CI at UB has attached great importance to Chinese language teaching local primary and middle schools. In addition, colorful Chinese cultural events have been organized by the CI at UB to let local children know the charm and richness of Chinese culture. In this event, more children got to know China and many of them were very fond of the Chinese language and culture. With strengthening ties between the CI at UB and local schools in Romania, there will be deeper cooperation and the Chinese language will become one of the most popular languages among local children.
