The Confucius Institute at Bangor University celebrates the Mid-Autumn festival

On the 19th september, the Bangor Confucius Institute hosted a mid-autumn festival celebration; also known as the moon festival. Guests from several academic Bangor schools such as the environmental sciences and music schools attended the celebration; along with the Confucius family. In China, the festival is similar to a bank holiday, the people may have three days off work to relax and spend time with their families, enjoy a meal and eat deliciously sweet mooncake while in the presence of a beautiful full-moon, to appreciate the value of family.
