In 2020 December, the research program “R&D of Chinese Language Textbooks for Romania Middle School (the first edition)” applied by Prof. Li Li, Chinese Co-Director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Bucharest (the CI at Bucharest), was approved as the 2020 key international Chinese language education program of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) of the Ministry of Education of the PRC (MOE); The research program “Study on Localization of Chinese Language Education in Romania” applied by Prof. Li Li was approved as an entrusted program for year 2020 by the MOE. The research program “Researching Status Quo of Romania International Chinese Education” applied by Cao Ruihong, teacher of the CI at Bucharest was approved as the 2020 youth program of international Chinese education by the CLEC of the MOE. In addition to Chinese language teachers of the CI at Bucharest, Romanian Chinese language teachers from the Department of Chinese Language of the University of Bucharest, local faculty of Confucius Classrooms, and faculty from the School of International Education, CUPL, also participated in these programs.
