From July 14 to 28, the Confucius Institute at the University of Bucharest (the CI at Bucharest), which was jointly founded by CUPL and the University of Bucharest, successfully held the “2019 Chinese Culture Experience Summer Camp of Confucius Institute” (“2019 Summer Camp in China”) in Suzhou and Beijing, China. During these two weeks, 22 campers of the CI at Bucharest experienced the cultural differences between Southern and Northern China, represented by the two cities of Suzhou and Beijing. Through a variety of cultural activities, they visited splendid rivers and mountains, having an unforgettable journey of experiencing Chinese charm. The 2019 Summer Camp in China was organized by CUPL. At the Closing Ceremony, Li Li, Chinese Co-Director of the CI at Bucharest, and Li Dandan, Director of Director of the CI Office at CUPL, awarded summer camp certificates and medals to each camper to reward them for their successful completion of the trip to China. Student representatives also expressed their gratitude to the CI at Bucharest and CUPL for their efforts to facilitate this trip to China.
