On December 2, the signing ceremony of donation from Beijing Huatian Law Firm to China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) was held at the law firm. The ceremony was attended by Feng Shiyong, Vice President of CUPL and President of the Alumnus Association of CUPL (AACUPL), Xu Shenjian, Dean of the School of Juris Master, Lu Shaohua, Director of Alumni Office, Li Huan, Deputy Director of Alumni Office, Wang Ping, Deputy Secretary-General of AACUPL and Secretary-General of Finance Alumni Association, Zheng Lianfa, President of Beijing Huatian Law Firm, Zou Huofa, Director and founding partner of the law firm, Jiang Qinghua, CUPL alumnus and founding partner of the law firm, and some partners and associates of the law firm.
Zou Huofa welcomed Feng Shiyong and his delegation and congratulated on the upcoming 70th birthday of CUPL. Zheng Lianfa said that the law firm has a long friendship with CUPL as many partners and lawyers of the law firm once worked and studied at CUPL, and he hoped to continue to cooperate with CUPL. Feng Shiyong made a concluding speech. In the presence of the participants, Lu Shaohua and Jiang Qinghua signed and exchanged the donation agreement.
Beijing Huatian Law Firm donated 700,000 RMB to the Education Foundation of CUPL to support CUPL’s development and to establish the “Huatian Scholarship”, which will help CUPL nurture more legal talents of virtue to the society.
