On May 14, the Editorial Office of Tribune of Political Science and Law and “Double World-Class” Office of CUPL jointly held a symposium on the Innovation and Development of Law Journals in the Context of the “Double World-Class” Initiative - the Development of the Discipline System, Academic System and Discourse System in Beijing. The experts and scholars had extensive exchange of views on how to tap into the role of law journals in the development of the discipline system, academic system and discourse system and how law journals could contribute to the “Double World-Class” initiative.
The opening ceremony was presided over by CUPL Vice President Shi Jianzhong. CUPL President Ma Huaide delivered an opening speech. The keynote speech session was moderated by Liu Yanhong, Chief Editor of Tribune of Political Science and Law. Ye Qing, President of East China University of Political Science and Law, Wang Yi, Vice President of Renmin University of China, Wang Jian, Vice President of Northwest University of Political Science and Law, Pan Jianfeng, Dean of Peking University Law School and Shen Weixing, Dean of Tsinghua University Law School delivered keynote speeches respectively. Huo Zhengxin, Director of the “Double World-Class” Office of CUPL and Li Zheng, Director of the Research Office of CUPL delivered concluding remarks.
